The assessment

The assessment screens all elements of the finance function. 

We first pay due attention to the “enablers” of the finance function: the organisation and the team, the tools and the underlying processes.

Most attention is paid to the output and impact of the finance function. 

In screening the operational finance part, we will analyse in detail the procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and organisation of accounting and consolidation.

Business finance - controlling so to speak - we divide into performance management, the budget and forecast cycle, management information reporting and data analysis.

Of course, we also cover specialised topics such as treasury, tax, risk management, stakeholder management, etc...

Finally, there are other important themes, such as the role of finance in the company’s sustainability challenges (ESG,...) and the role of finance in the innovative practices of the company.
